Implants

An implant is an alternative to a denture or bridge for people with good overall health and healthy gums and bones. Implants are artificial teeth permanently anchored in the jawbone below the gum.

We use the Tenax Dental Implant System designed and manufactured in Canada. The system has several unique features including:

• One piece, one surgery design
• Porous coated surface
• Cemented, retrievable abutments

A single implant can be used to support one false tooth and two or more can be used to secure a bridge. Three or more implants can be used to anchor and stabilize a denture. Implants are also highly recommended for those who currently wear a complete lower denture.
